Joint Winner: Wai-natur Naturist Park
Just a small suitcase is required when visiting Wai-natur Naturist Park in Wairau Valley. Owners Kay Hannam and Brian Williams say that birthday suits are de rigueur this summer, accessoried with hat and sunnies to complete this season's fashion look.
Kay and Brian moved to the warmer climes of Marlborough five years ago, having previously operated a successful naturist homestay near Lake Tekapo.
Located on SH63, Wai-natur is situated among 2.5 hectares of established park-like gardens, an ideal setting for accommodation options including bed and breakfast, ensuite cabin, onsite vans and a variety of powered or unpowered campsites in sun or shade. A surprising amount of room is available for caravans and large motor-homes.
Day visitors are welcome at this secluded and quiet campsite with all the amenities of a regular camping ground, with outdoor hot spa and fabulous solar heated swimming pool.
A visit to Wai-natur Naturist Park will not cause permanent harm to anyone. On the other hand, it may change your life. Experience the freedom for yourself.
